AFITO is a fast ride set in 1978 likened to the “adult version of Nancy Drew/Hardy Boys and Scooby Doo,” with all the clothes, music, muscle cars and pop culture you can handle at one time.

A Fly in the Ointment: Part I & II

Best laid plans aren't always that.

What do a Supreme Court justice, sweet tea, a rhythm guitar, a troubled teen ranch, Sooner football, psych drugs, and a road tripping turtle have in common? One wicked tale that covers two weeks in September of 1978 when the hunters become the hunted.

Pride (the excessive feeling of being responsible for others), Hunger (the unbalanced aching for love and acceptance), Fear (the irrational response of everything pointing to impending doom), and Anger (the bitter slow-burn of unforgiveness lurking below a quiet, talented nature).

AFITO is a suspense-driven mystery focusing in on four of the emotions that strive to propel us all. As you discover four close friends navigating their twenties while trying to make sense of their tumultuous pasts, each of their prominent senses will appear before your eyes. You then have a front row seat to witness how they evolve or don't. Because, hey, we are free to choose the destinies of our souls. Right?
